Washington-Dulles is (see below)
“open for limited operations.” Most flights are canceled until
tomorrow. I have a question – will there
be a conference bridge setup for those that cannot make it, especially due to
the weather situation ? -Victor Blake From: http://www.metwashairports.com/snow.htm Dulles International
(IAD) Airport Status The airport terminal is open
and the airfield is open for limited operations. It is unknown at this time how
many airline flights will operate on Sunday, February 7th. From: Marek Hajduczenia
[mailto:marek_haj@xxxxxxx] Dear all, I arrived to New Brunswick today
(06.02.2010) in the morning and given the recent snow storm alert issued for
the Eastern US, I would like to share some information on the weather situation
in the New Brunswick area. The snow storm which was affecting the weather in
the Eastern US for the last few days dissipated, leaving airports in the
Washington DC area closed for the moment (planned to be opened on 07.02.2010).
Local New York airports are open and accept air traffic without substantial
delays. Please check the current airport situation at http://www.flightstats.com/go/Home/home.do.
Roads in the New Brunswick area are
passable and regularly cleaned by the local maintenance crews. There should be
no problems reaching New Brunswick from the New York airports though roads can
get slippery at night due to lower traffic. Weather forecast for the following
few days suggests no weather deterioration. Dress warm however –
temperature oscillates around 0C even during the day and drops down to -10C
during the night. See you all in Piscataway and have a safe
trip Sincerely, Marek Hajduczenia, PhD ZTE Portugal Edifício Amoreiras Plaza, Rua Carlos Alberto da Mota Pinto, nr. 9 - 6 A, 1070-374 Lisbon, Portugal Office: +351 213 700
