Hesham and all, In February we had some discussion related to 1904.2, but we
did not have any 1904.2 meetings yet! The PAR was approved on March 27th and Louisville meeting will be the first 1904.2 task force meeting. Those who attend the meeting will get the voting rights at the beginning of the meeting. Regards, Glen From: Hesham ElBakoury [mailto:Hesham.ElBakoury@xxxxxxxxxx]
Hi Glen, I subscribed to both lists. I registered for the workshop and the IEEE 1904.2 meeting (I think I can’t attend 1904.1 meetings). Am I qualified as a voting member for IEEE 1904.2 (I think so if the last meeting I attended is the 1st meeting, otherwise I am not a voting member). Thanks Hesham From: Glen Kramer [mailto:gkramer@xxxxxxxxxxxx]
Deal Colleagues, Please, note and take the necessary actions for the following:
1)
Website for the IEEE 1904 Access Network Working Group has been created (http://www.ieee1904.org/index.shtml). For some items, such as P&P, Ops Manual, or contact information, it still
points to the 1904.1 website. Over the next several months, we will need to produce the new 1904-specific P&P and Operations Manual (since this is an individual-based WG). I will be updating the website as new information becomes available.
Please let me know if you request any additional content or find any problems with the website.
2)
Mailing list for the 1904 Working Group has been created.
Please, subscribe following these instructions:

3)
Mailing list for the 1904.2 Task Force has been created. Please, subscribe following these instructions:

4)
Please, plan to attend IEEE 1904 WG meeting in June in Louisville, CO. According to IEEE SA rules, those attending the first meeting of a newly-formed working group or task force, automatically become voting members. Those, who missed
the first meeting, will need to attend two meetings before they can vote. Meeting information is posted here: http://www.ieee1904.org/1/meeting_info/siepon_1406_mtg_info.pdf .
Note the registration deadline is June 1st 2014. 5)
On June 26, we will have a joint BBF/1904WG workshop discussing the challenges of managing hybrid fiber–copper/coax access architectures. Workshop
draft agenda is posted here:
