Hello,
Attached you will find a research paper addressing the issue of packet loss as a function of Bit Errors.
The paper is focused on all-optical networks and optical switching (since this is a research paper), but the results should be valid also for the type of networks we are studying.
Have a look and see if it contains applicable information for us.
