Present:
Jouni Korhonen

Richard Maiden
Steinar Björnstad
Sriram Devi
Xhafer Krasnigi
Mohammad Akhtar
Kevin Bross
Gareth Edwards
Peter K. Cho
Actual Agenda:
1904.3 Spec D0.1 "review"
Discussion:
Jouni started to go through the current draft version. New inputs and corrections to this revision.
Format is still free but of course direct changes to the Word document using track changes is
most convenient for the document editor.
We try to add as much as possible missing pieces before the October f2f. Editorial and technical
contributions most welcome. We work for approval during the calls and on the reflector.
(In addition to what was said during the call - bigger technical changes/decisions still require an
approval as a baseline and I look for to do bulk approval during the f2f - let's work on consensus
before the f2f though)
Comments:
Xhafer: comments the title not necessarily the best to describe the content of the spec.
Jouni: document name comes from the PAR.. not to be changed anymore.
Xhafer: comment on the scope coverage. Not entirely correct anymore.
Jouni: old text.. feel free to provide corrected text.
Xhafer: subclause 3.4 does not seem to belong where it is now.
Jouni: can be moved.
Multiple comments (Kevin et al) using 0x for haxadecimal.. ok
Jouni: ask whether using trailing 'b' for binary is also ok then? agreed.
Comment on subclause 4.1.1 "half delay".. jouni says it means the link delay may
be asymmetric.
Another comment on subclause 4.1.1 that assumptions there are actually requirements.
To be changed to either requirements or prerequisites.
Richard comments that "s" bit usage with TS or SN need some work.
Also comment that there is no final conclusion on the flow_id specifically its bi-directionality.
Flow_ids also need more clarity how groups are handled.
Examples asked how to use the proposed RoE payload description for different payloads.
Jouni said to provide examples for various cases (for mappers etc..)
Other business:
Richard Maiden as the editor maintains the "master document". For the official commenting
web-based tool that will be used for draft D1.0 & balloting and above is under works.
Next call 9/29/2015.
