Folks,

While we are in a middle of everything I just wanted to remind you about one specific topic. The current effort has really been on CBR type traffic with ~constant packet sizes. We discussed this long ago that we need to be prepared for variable packet sizes and rates. So something to process in a background what would it take specification wise to introduce variable size/rate packets (this obviously becomes topical when RoE transports compressed or L1-split streams).
