Hi,

 

Please find an updated version of our draft draft attached. The _clean version has all the Track Changes approved.

 

I believe I have captured the motions from our previous face to face.

 

Notable changes;

a)      Reordering and renaming of some sections to group together packet type descriptions and their associated mappers

b)      Removal of extended_header from common frame format. If/when it is used, it is described in the specific packet format/mapper

c)       Removal of the ‘S’ bit

d)      Addition of the simple tunneling packet format & mapper

e)      Re-arrangement of pkt_type values. Now ordered control, simple tunneling, structure agnostic, structure aware and native

a.       I’ve tried to use those names in the section headings (rather than the associated binary pointer)

f)       Sequence number description crossed out (for discussion tomorrow)

g)      Agreed mapper functional descriptions added.

h)      Numerous non-technical (formatting) edits.
