Dear Working Group members,

Based on the vote count reported below, I announce that the required response threshold was met and that Zhou Zhen is elected to the position of Treasurer.

I would like to thank Zhou Zhen for accepting the nomination to serve as the working group treasurer, and to congratulate him for being elected with the unanimous vote.

According to our Policies and Procedures, the term of office for the WG officer is two years, however an officer may continue to serve until a successor is elected or appointed (See section 3.1 in https://www.ieee1904.org/documents/operations/anwg_PnP_approved.pdf).

This e-mail marks the beginning of the voting period. The voting period will close on February 18^th AoE (Anywhere on Earth), 2022.

Relevant election rules from the IEEE P1904 WG P&P:

The Elections Officer shall prepare and conduct the election by letter or electronic ballot. Voting will conclude in a time determined by the Sponsor, but no less than 14 calendar days. Each voting member may cast one approval vote for each of as many nominees for an office as the voting member chooses. The nominee with the greatest number of approval votes shall win the election, provided ballots are returned by a majority of the eligible voters for that election.
