All, This is the final reminder that the initial working group ballot closes tonight at 11:59 AoE. The ballot status and vote tally are determined at the ballot closing time. Therefore, no late ballots are permitted. All binding comments associated with a DISAPPROVE vote (i.e., ERs and TRs) must be submitted with the ballot. Any post-deadline comments are considered non-binding. The instructions for submitting WG ballots are shown below. Please, contact me if you have any questions related to the balloting procedure.  Thank you, Glen   From: Glen Kramer <glen.kramer@xxxxxxxxxxxx>  Dear IEEE P1904.4 Ballot Group members,  To ensure your ballot is counted, please submit your ballot using the online form available at this URL: https://www.ieee1904.org/private/4/tf4_ballotproc.shtml. (The username and password to access the Ballot Submission Form are as announced during the working group meetings. Contact the WG Chair if you do not have these.)  This form may also be accessed from the IEEE P1904.4 Task Force home page https://www.ieee1904.org/4 through the main navigation menu: On this page, in addition to the Ballot Submission Form, you will find the guidelines for submitting comments and for submitting comment supplemental files. Please, follow those guidelines closely. All fields in the Ballot Submission Form are mandatory. A ballot vote can be accompanied by comments. There are several comment types: E = Editorial ER = Editorial Required T = Technical TR = Technical Required  E and T comments are non-binding comments that identify non-critical editorial or technical issues. The balloter indicates their approval of the draft, even if these comments are not resolved to the balloterâ??s satisfaction. ER and TR comments are binding comments that identify editorial and technical issues that form the basis for the balloterâ??s DISAPPROVE vote. These comments can only accompany the DISAPPROVE vote. A DISAPPROVE vote without any ER or TR comments is considered invalid and is removed from a total tally.  The IEEE 1904 Access Networks Working Group follows the same process for the WG Letter Ballot as defined in the IEEE-SA Standards Board Operations Manual, subclause 5.4.3. Per IEEE 1904 Policies & Procedures, subclause 7.1.2, the required threshold for draft acceptance is 2/3 of the votes cast, excluding the abstentions. A ballot is considered failed if less than 50% of the ballot group members cast the votes or if more than 30% of the cast votes are abstentions.   Thank you, Glen Kramer,  To unsubscribe from the STDS-1904-4-TF list, click the following link: https://listserv.ieee.org/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=STDS-1904-4-TF&A=1 |
